Go to the PatSnap API Portal
- Open your browser and navigate to https://open.patsnap.com/home.
Sign In or Register
- If you already have a PatSnap account, click “Sign In” and log in with your credentials.
- If you do not have an account, click “Sign Up” and follow the instructions to create a new account.
Access API Credentials
- Once logged in, navigate to the API section or dashboard.
- Look for a menu or button labeled “API Keys”, “Credentials”, or similar.
Create a New API Application (if required)
- If you need to create a new application for API access, click “Create Application” or a similar button.
- Fill in the required details (such as application name, description, etc.).
- Submit the form to generate your credentials.
Retrieve Client ID and Secret
- After creating the application, locate your
Client IDandClient Secreton the dashboard or application details page. - Copy these values.
- After creating the application, locate your
Add Credentials to FastMCP
- Open the FastMCP connection interface.
- Click on the “Install Now” button for the PatSnap MCP Server.
- When prompted, fill in the fields with your
PATSNAP_CLIENT_IDandPATSNAP_CLIENT_SECRETusing the values you obtained. - Save and complete the configuration.
Note: Handle your client secret securely and do not share it publicly.
