Bridges Claude with Vectorize.io's vector database services for advanced document retrieval, text extraction, and research capabilities through TypeScript-based tools that handle authentication via organization IDs and API tokens.
  1. Log in to your Vectorize account

  2. Find your Vectorize Organization ID

    • After logging in, locate your Organization settings or profile area.
    • Look for your "Organization ID" (may be listed as "Org ID" or similar).
  3. Obtain your Vectorize Token

    • In your Vectorize user dashboard (usually under API or Developer settings), find the section for API Tokens or Access Tokens.
    • Create a new token if one does not already exist.
    • Copy the generated token. Treat this as a password—do not share it publicly.
  4. Find or create your Vectorize Pipeline ID

    • In your Vectorize dashboard, access the Pipelines area.
    • Either select an existing pipeline or create a new one.
    • Copy the Pipeline ID from the pipeline's details page.
  5. Add these values to FastMCP

    • Click the "Install Now" button in the FastMCP connection interface for Vectorize.
    • In the prompted form, input:
      • VECTORIZE_ORG_ID: Your Organization ID from step 2.
      • VECTORIZE_TOKEN: Your token from step 3.
      • VECTORIZE_PIPELINE_ID: The Pipeline ID from step 4.
    • Save or confirm to complete the setup.

You have now configured the required ENV values for the Vectorize MCP server!
