Log in to the Pinecone Console
Go to https://app.pinecone.io and sign in with your account credentials.Navigate to the API Keys Section
Once logged in, look for the "API Keys" area in the left-hand navigation menu, or access it through your project's dashboard.Create or View Your API Key
- If you already have an API key, you can copy it directly.
- If you need a new one, click “Create API Key,” give it a name, and confirm. Your API key will be displayed (copy it now, as it may be shown only once).
Fill in the API Key in FastMCP
In the FastMCP connection interface, locate the field for thePINECONE_API_KEY.Paste Your API Key
Paste the copied API key into thePINECONE_API_KEYfield.Save the Configuration
Confirm or save your changes as required by FastMCP. Your integration with Pinecone should now be active.
Note: The API key grants programmatic access to manage and query your Pinecone indexes. Keep it secure and do not share it publicly.
