Enables agents to talk to CircleCI. Fetch build failure logs to fix issues.
  1. Log in to CircleCI

  2. Generate a Personal API Token

    • Click “Create New Token”
    • Enter a label for the token (e.g., “FastMCP Integration”)
    • Click “Create Token”
    • Copy the generated token immediately—this is your only chance to see it.
  3. Go to your FastMCP connection interface

    • Click the "Install Now" button for CircleCI in FastMCP (or open your FastMCP environment variable setup screen).
  4. Input your API Token

    • Find the field labeled CIRCLECI_TOKEN
    • Paste your copied API Token into this field.
  5. (Optional, for on-prem or custom CircleCI installations) Set the Base URL

    • If your CircleCI account uses a custom domain or is self-hosted, fill in the CIRCLECI_BASE_URL field (e.g., https://your-circleci-instance.com). For typical cloud users, you can leave this set to the default https://circleci.com.
  6. Save or Confirm the setup in FastMCP.

You’re now ready to use the CircleCI MCP server through FastMCP!
