A Model Context Protocol server that enables Claude Desktop to browse the web, likely allowing the AI to access and interact with web content.
  1. Click the "Install Now" button in FastMCP to open the FastMCP connection / environment form, where you will enter the required ENV values (see step 4).

  2. Sign in to your 302.AI dashboard (the API keys page). Open the 302.AI API keys list (dash) to manage/generate keys. (dash.302.ai)

  3. Create a new API key:

    • In the dashboard navigate to Use API → API Keys (or the API Keys area).
    • Click to add / create a new API Key.
    • Give the key a name and choose an expiration (default is Eternal) and any quotas you want.
    • Click Add / Create to generate the key. (help.302.ai)
  4. Copy the generated API key (click the API KEY icon to view/copy the secret). Keep it secret — do not commit it into source control. (help.302.ai)

  5. Return to the FastMCP connection form opened in step 1 and paste the key into the 302AI_API_KEY field (the ENV named "302AI_API_KEY"). Save/confirm the connection settings.

  6. Start or install the MCP server via FastMCP (or run your MCP start command) and verify the server starts successfully. If you need to debug locally, use the MCP Inspector or the server’s debug instructions provided in the package README. (help.302.ai)

  7. Optional safety notes:

    • Treat the API key like a password; rotate/revoke it from the dashboard if it’s exposed.
    • If you need short-lived keys for security, set a short expiration when creating the key in step 3. (help.302.ai)
