Open your account's Access Tokens page (Account / Access Tokens or Dashboard → Account → Tokens) to manage personal access tokens. (glama.ai)
Click "Generate New Token" (or "Generate new token"), give it a descriptive name (e.g., "FastMCP"), and create the token. Copy the token value immediately — it is displayed only once. (infisical.com)
Note that the Management API expects a Personal Access Token (PAT) for authentication (these tokens are long‑lived and must be kept secret). The token you generated typically starts with the prefix sbp_. Store it securely. (supabase.com)
Open the FastMCP connection interface (the Install Now form) and paste the token into the SUPABASE_API_KEY field in the environment values. Then click "Install Now" to save and activate the MCP server.
(Optional) Verify the connection by using the MCP server to list projects or fetch a project API key (the Management API provides endpoints such as list projects / get project API keys). If verification fails, re-check the token and repeat the steps above. (supabase.com)
