Log in to Your Overseerr Instance
- Open your Overseerr web interface in your browser (e.g., https://your-overseerr-instance.com).
Navigate to Settings
- Click on “Settings” in the left sidebar.
Go to the General Tab
- Under the “General” section in the settings, locate your “API Key.”
Copy Your API Key
- Copy the API key displayed here. If you do not see an API key, generate one using the button provided.
Locate Your Overseerr URL
- The base URL of your Overseerr instance is the address you use to access the web interface (e.g., https://your-overseerr-instance.com).
Paste the Required Values into the FastMCP Connection Interface
- In the FastMCP connection setup, fill in:
OVERSEERR_URLwith your Overseerr instance URL (e.g., https://your-overseerr-instance.com)OVERSEERR_API_KEYwith the key you obtained above
- In the FastMCP connection setup, fill in:
Click the “Install Now” Button
- Complete the setup by clicking the “Install Now” button so your values are saved and the integration is enabled.
You are done! FastMCP will now be able to connect to your Overseerr instance.
