Log in to protocols.io
- Go to https://www.protocols.io/developers.
- Sign in with your protocols.io account.
Create a new API client
- After signing in, locate the "API clients" section.
- Click to add a new API client.
Generate and copy your client access token
- The new API client will generate an access token.
- Copy this token. This is your
PROTOCOLS_IO_CLIENT_ACCESS_TOKEN.
Add the token to FastMCP
- In the FastMCP connection interface, click the “Install Now” button for the protocols.io MCP server.
- When prompted, fill in the
PROTOCOLS_IO_CLIENT_ACCESS_TOKENvalue with the token you copied.
Save and apply
- Finalize the setup by saving your changes in the connection interface. Your protocols.io integration is now complete.
